| Song lyrics |
You've got this new head filled up with smoke.
And I got my veins all tangled close,
To the jukebox bars you frequent.
The safest place to hide.
A long night spent with your most obvious weakness.
You start shaking at the thought.
You are everything I want.
'Cause you are everything I'm not.
And we lay, we lay together just not,
Too close, too close. (How close is close enough?)
We lay, we lay together just not,
Too close, too close.
I just wanna break you down so badly.
Well I trip over everything you say.
I just wanna break you down so badly.
In the worst way.
My inarticulate store bought hangover hobby kit.
It talks (Ta-a-alks), it says, "You, oh, you are so cool."
Scissor shaped across the bed, you are red, violent red.
You hollow out my hungry eyes.
You hollow out my hungry eyes.
And we lay, we lay together just not,
Too close, too close. (How close is close enough?)
We lay, we lay together just not,
Too close, too close.
I just wanna break you down so badly.
Well I trip over everything you say.
Well I just wanna break you down so badly.
In the worst way.
I just wanna break you down so badly.
Well I trip over everything you say.
I just wanna break you down so badly.
In the worst way. (Worst way.)
I'm gonna make damn sure that you can't ever leave.
No, you won't ever get too far from me.
You won't ever get too far from me.
I'll make damn sure that you can't ever leave.
No, you won't ever get too far from me.
You won't ever get too far from me.
You won't ever get too far from me. (Ever get too far...)
You won't ever get too far...
I just wanna break you down so badly.
Well I trip over everything you say.
Well I just wanna break you down so badly.
In the worst way. (Worst way.)
I'm gonna make damn sure.
I just wanna break you down so badly.
I just wanna break you down so badly. (Damn sure.)
In the worst way. (Worst way.)

I absolutely love this song. It is definately one of my favorite TBS songs. I love this whole album, as well. However, I would have to agree with a few of you. Tell All Your Friends is still my favorite TBS album.
My inarticulate store bought hangover hobby kit in time, it says, "You, oh, you are so cool."
:] ^^ My favorite part.

The 152 thing is because it's the exit to the band's hometown. They said they want it on their album covers because it reminds them of where they came from.

| Would have to be one of my fav TBS songs....And one of my fav songs at the moment for that matter! They had big expectations put on them because of their previous work, but I'd have to say they lived upto these expectations! BS are a great band! Love 'em! | 26-06-2006 01:27 cairowinters |

| im sorry cairowinters but you may be a complete moron...
Wow, intelligent way to start an argument.
tbs and mcr sound nothing alike..
Yes they do. I didn't say that was a bad thing though.
.dont get me wrong i somewhat like mcr but i hate how big they are....
So bands should be punished for becoming popular? All bands strive to become big (except those silly indie extremists) - it's the best way to ensure there music is heard by as many people as possible and that they're able to stay around for as long as possible.
mcr is all gothic emo whose lyrics talk about death and taking back sunday's lyrics mostly talk about relationships
I wasn't talking lyrics-wise, I meant vocals and music style wise.
plus they are to good to even be classified under some category because it wouldnt fit theyre changing styles (thier old and best stuff is prob. emo tho)
I kinda agree with you here (though I'd put it another way) that bands shouldn't be classified under a category. Genres are too hard to define and they're too limiting. They're for narrow-minded people who can't deal with change and new things.
and if this is the first song u heard by them then we mite have to start worrying about them getting to big...i also understnd this is TOTALLY opinated
