Isn't the great thing about music they way so many different people can enjoy it and make their own interpretations from it. I really hope you're not one of those people who love a song, then decide to hate it once it gets well known. I really dislike those people. Oh - and if you are one of those people, My Chemical Romance isn't a good band for you to listen to at all - all their songs are well known now - you're not special in liking them. Anyway... I love this song. It's so darn catchy. Interesting lyrics too. I don't know (or particularly care) how it fits in with the rest of the album, but to me it reminds me of all the school shootings (whether or not the band meant it to be that way)... Read over the lyrics again and you'll see what I mean.

That's how I felt in school, and after 9/11 happened that's how I felt in general. It's very important that this song is here because I always viewed this as about these kids in the parade who had killed themselves, who had made a big mistake. It's a very powerful song. By the way - does the melody to this song remind anyone of another song? My mother reckons it does, but she's not sure what song. Any ideas?

What I hate is the fact that there are some people who hear one song by a band and believe they are the world's biggest fan of the band. Since I know quite a few of these people, it angers me very much. And since My Chemical Romance is in no way an underground band, I don't feel special because I listen to them, nor any other bands, thank you very much. So hate all you want, I can honestly care less.

Probably the best thing they've done since 05. Although, on another note, does it not sound like something from Rocky Horror? I can imagine Meatloaf and Tim Curry prancing around to it, lol.

They have truly turned into another fall out boy/ avril lavine. their music used to be amazing, but now it is all just a big show to get a different more popular crowd of fans.

13 posts	rhythm melody instruments lyrics vocal I really like this song but i have to admit the cd is not as great as id expect it to be it only has like 5 good songs . three cheers for sweet revenge is like 5x better every song in it was good. and im tired of people saying they understand it and know what it means yet no one freaken explains it. i like mcr but they are becoming like bella said another one of those unoriginal bands. they used to be unique. and [b] if you understand the whole meaning of the cd and the song explain it then damn. not everyone is going to have the same perception as you do. hopefully mcr doesnt go sell out.

40 posts	I was wrongly accused of not understanding this song; I DO understand it. And, furthermore, I CAN comprehend what is being shown to me all at once. I am not stupid. I appreciate the message against teenage violence that this song delivers, I just hate the way they present the message. I think it is presented in an annoying and unoriginal way. I find the lyrics to be boring with no "deep" meaning behind them. I doubt that someone would hear a song, hate it, figure out the meaning of the song, and then like it only because of the song's meaning. It is possible to hate a song that you understand perfectly well.
