vocal I first heard this song when my dad called me from work and we told me about it because my cousin had Aplastic Anemia with PNH which is a bone marrow failur. But when I heard it I cried for hours . My cousin was 21 and we had a benefit for her and I sang this song and everyone was like wow that song is really sad and it relates to the problem and I told them all that is was Rascal Flatts and all that and yeah. She was sick and in the hospital for about 2 year and on October 20th they finally said that is was then end because they were just going to send her home to die so they just pulled the plug at the hospital and she died there. 7 days before my birthday which was a really bad thing but I would rather see her not suffer and be comfortable then to see her suffer so I guess it was for the best. It has been about 4 months and everytime I hear this song I still cry and think about her. I Love this song with all my heart and I love Rascal Flatts for writing about such a hard topic and subject.

vocal holly, I'm so sorry about your loss. A good friend of our family is going through aplastic anemia also, she is 15 years old. She has been in the hospital since Memorial weekend 2005! She is finally going to be able to come home but she has lost her vision.
skin is one of my utmost favorite songs because it is about a cause that we fight dearly for. . CANCER. We do our local Relay for Life because we lost my dad 6 years ago. As someone else said wear the cancer colors and show your support.

Yeah thats right. He shaves his head for her and thats the part thats the saddest I think because when my cousin was in the hospital her boyfriend broke up with her because he didnt like the way she looked so its nice to have someone that cares that much about you.
Honestly, yes it is a good song but it shouldnt have been recorded. How many people has cancer effected? exactly a lot and that just brings back pain and memories. The video was.. i dont even know how to describe it. Luckily they have a new song to bail this one out
