I have almost lost a few friends to suicide, and i was sooo lucky to have either i or another friend break down thier defenses, and help them. I dont know what i would have done if they had gone through with it, and this song will help a lot of people. Me and my friends were the lucky ones, and i hope there are others.

When I heard this song, all I could think of was all the amount of kids who said "If only I'd known.../did/known how" This is a great song, great lyrics great everything.

Now ive seen them, and looked at them i can really connect. See, me && my ex boyfriend went out for about a year. we both love eachother so much still and we brok up bout 4 months ago. Since ive had 2 boyfriends - hes had 2 girlfriends. but neither of us havve moved on. in te back of our minds we boths know all we want is to be together. i was wiling to breakup with my last boyfriend for him, but he wouldnt allow it. i wouldnt do that now because i am scrared yo be with him again. he always found a wway to upset me x3 ]= Lay down a list of what is wrong The things you’ve told him all along And pray to God he hears you i can realate to this quote because i would tell him so much, and he wouldnt care that thigs about him upset me ! 3,035 posts	Honestly, I don't like The Fray too much... But when I heard this song...it nearly brought me to tears. Its so pretty and anybody can relate to the lyrics, or the chorus at least. I find myself humming the chorus all the time. Its a thousand times better than Over My Head, lyrically and...generally. I love it.

I remember having the conversations where we would both say "what's wrong" and how she would say I wasn't fixing the things she named... and I remember when I decided that "I just wasn't the same". She says she doesn't want to talk to me anymore (because it hurts too much since we're not together), so I def. lost a friend in the break-up as well. It's been a few months since we broke up, but I haven't had another relationship - and reading all the posts about this song and how I feel about it, I'm starting to think I just haven't moved on yet. Even though when we broke up I was so sure I could never be with her in the long haul. So, enough about my relationship - this song is really amazing. So lyrical, it just flows great - and I can't help but sing along (at least in my head). I hadn't thought of this in terms of suicide or helping a troubled friend, maybe I'll try that interpretation and it'll make me not think of my Ex everytime I hear the song...

Who happened to commit suicide on his 18th birthday...people were with him and I ran up to him...I held him and I told him a zillion times how much I love him...This song makes me feel bad..thinking that maybe if I had known I could have stopped it..but I didnt know and I couldnt have stopped it. Thank you Fray for this wonderful song ... It reaches into the soul and pulls out every and any emotion a person can feel all at the same time... Yet another Hit by a great band... -Melyssa
