25 posts	rhythm melody instruments lyrics vocal this song is incredible........ it really could make go insane...it has a strange effect on me and gives the feeling i need... the solo at the end is extremly well done METALLICA (was a) great band, great perfomance, great music i wish they turn back to what they used to be...but i think it won't because james is now a father and hasn't the same look at life and music...he has changed unfortunately

It's funny because for some reason I'd just decided that I didn't like Metallica, even though I hadn't actually given them much of a chance. Well folks, that's all changed now. This song is wicked. I'm now a fan.

The only other few songs that might come close are Welcome Home(Sanitarium), Orion and One. Other Metallica songs are not even close, especially Nothing Else Matters. This is just awesome. Wonderful intro, EXCELLENT soloes, especially after he screams "Fix me!". Kirk is an awesome guitarist, maybe not the best, but definetely good.

What makes it so great is that it's about drug addiction, but the lyrics are just vague enough to apply anything you want to it. You can take it as it's actual meaning, or think of it as your own personal experiences. They do that in many of their songs & that's why James is such a genius!
