The fact that you don't know the original song shows that you don't know The Who which shows that you don't know great music. Go to some music store and buy one of their albums, a best of, or best yet, Tommy. As for the song, I cannot believe she would do this. Changing that line and adding all the 'baby' stuff made this f*** off to the elders into some teen pop crap. Please save these great songs... don't remake them

And although I, sadly, am a part of her generation, I'm the counter-culture, where she is clearly the "culture". She obviously doesn't understand ROCK ideals, that's proven by the changed line "Hope I (DON'T) die before I get old." Hands up whoever sees that CHANGING this one line DESTROYS the meaning of the song. Right. Non of you. Have I walked into Ray Bradbury's world, or something? We understand that you may not like Hilary and that you wish to educate us all in the ways of your ideas and tastes in music, but you need to understand that we love Hilary and that she is brilliant in our eyes! Oh, yeah. And may I inform you that I HAVE been exposed to 'the greats' and they are wonderful! However, just because I enjoy the classics doesn't mean that I'm not open to new/remade creations! Why don't you do everyone a favor and broaden your range of musical tolerance!
