The Clash were way ahead of their time and established PUNK on the map in the 1970's. Their album/CD "London Calling" was a revelation in the world of punk. AWESOME music on that CD.
"Rock The Casbah" was more of a Top 40 type of release but great music nonetheless. I just LOVE that piano riff imbedded in the chorus:
"Shareef don't like it Rock the Casbah, Rock the Casbah."
