I think its funny how it became so popular from being played on the O.C hehehe but oh well thats how i heard it and if it was never played then i would have never heard such a good song! By the way i can't wait until the 3rd season!!!!!

4 posts	Heard it on the OC and fell in love with it straight away. Heard it on the radio when i was at work and couldnt believe it. Unfortunatley its not really that big on local stations and only on the big stations..but still great! love listenin 2 it..Shes done a great one there!

26 posts	Now that I've recently experienced a true heartache, I get this song even more. It sounds like there is a lot of confusion and hurt coming from the lyrics. I get it. When you feel lost & totally out of sorts, you can really relate to the song. I don't think it makes as much sense if you haven't experienced real heartache.

I think you gotta listen to it a couple of times to get used to it cos it is REALLY weird...I didn't like it the first time i listen to it...but after a while I was completely obsessed! It really is a good song. And the fact that it pushes the boundaries makes it even better.

3 posts	rhythm melody instruments lyrics vocal oh my god. shut up about the oc will you? i watch it too when i remember it's on but this isn't the oc board. yes, we all know when you watched marissa shoot trey blah blah blah you were deeply moved mmkay so why don't we try and talk about the song now? really! i had to register an account just because i was fed up with all of you oc obsessed fans coming in after hearing one song and completely ruining this board with all your oc talk. and at least check out some of imogens other songs or frou frous. after watching garden state i was crazy about frou frou's song 'let go' so i suggest listening to that song. and i heard about 'hide and seek' through someone posting part of the lyrics somewhere, listened to the song and i really like it. i think the interpretations of being broken up with, finding out the boyfriend has a wife, child, those were dead on. i'm listening to imogens other songs and i really like 'sweet religion' also. i'm surprised there are no posts yet about that song!

But this song is meaningful to me for a way different reason.. August of this year one of my close friends committed suicide.. and this song was played at his funeral. it was one of his favorites. so.. when listening to it .. it's for Zane. R.I.P. Zaner.
