19 posts	rhythm melody instruments lyrics vocal this song is great. i love it. and its weird, cause im not into this type of music, i like rock and stuff, and this is so much different, but i love it. i dont know what its about, but that when it was written the person was high, or atleast thats what i heard...and it reminds me so much of the oc, and i miss it ='[. and im really glad trey didnt die, even though i hated him.

Maybe another time you'll join me on the train & we can ride together. You'll figure it all out. Stay in control, it's what you seem to know how to do best. I think the song is so poetic that, in order to understant the entire thing you would have to do a full on literary analysis. But to cliff note it...its a sad song, and it can be played into any sad situation, whether it is a shooting, funeral, or a breaking point of a drinking binge. Its a song about reality, yet at the same time disbelief. Whenever I hear this song all I can think of is the shooting and the funeral/wake....seeing the hurt and dispear on every characters face.

I think this song is more deep than a break up, it could be about a dramatic change that made someone's world rumble. It could even be about someone's death. This may sound weird but, it could be about a govermmental change. Read the words, it talks about a change that somebody, or something made with no consultation, warning. It is something that caught them off gaurd. you may think I'm weird but.. this is my opinion. If my english and grammer is incorrect, dont laugh, understand, I'm from Israel (:

127 posts	This song is actually a song about house eviction. Note the lyrics "Oily marks appear on walls, where pleasure moment hung before". It is talking about paintings being removed from a wall after being there for so long. "Crop circles in the carpet" This means the furniture that has been there for so long, creating deep crop circles, but are removed from eviction. I'd go on, but if you think about it and read the lyrics over again, you'll see that Hide and Seek is about home eviction, and almost like you are literally playing hide and seek, as you are seeking for refuge and hiding, then seeking again.

13 posts	rhythm melody instruments lyrics vocal i have never seen the OC an never will coz its just not something i would like. i heard this song else where and i really like it. i was in a bit of a music rut. i was getting bored of what i was listening to and all of a sudden i find this song. yay! i like to hear intreeesting and different sounds and ways of playing and hearing music. so its relli goooood! i played it some of my friends and they thought it was a lil weird but i told them they need to listen to it a few times at least.. oh wells
