8 posts | Yellow is to drugs as Puff the Magic Dragon is to drugs - maybe, but so what? In its non-chemical meaning it is a wonderfully rendered, exuberant love song. Reminds me of a poem I read years ago equating bringing electrical power to the Tennessee Valley to how the author felt about his new love, and how he wished to tell everyone about it. |

I absolutely love this song . . . in a way I get it, but I don't get the stuff about drawing a line . . . in some ways ya it could be about drugs, but really so could ANY song... It's a great song tho, especially because yellow is my  ABSOLUTE favorite  color!!! And when I found out about this song I was SOOOOO happy cuz i mean, its called yellow!
