And secondly, I was just watching coldplay on "Storytellers" where they tell the stories of how they wrote some of their songs. Chris Martin said that he and another member were in a bar one day playing darts, and that Chris had this song completely written but that it was missing one word. He decided that the next thing that caught his eye was going to be that word. The next thing he saw was the yellow pages... hence the word yellow.

29 posts	I saw on a programme Chris Matrin telling what the song was about, the reason it's called yellow is because he needed a 2 syllable word and he looked at the Yellow Pages. Although, while they were making the video, some one's mother died,a so one of he band members needed to go to the funeral, which is y there's only one person in the video.
