I think this song is about how drugs change people. Because he refrences to trippy imagery like a pink colored star exploding? And walking faster than a cannonball? Also he refrences to being caught underneath a landslide as if to say all his drug problems caught up to him, but where were you when i wanted you there? | I don't think this song really has to do with drugs as much as it has to do with the struggle of life, i think what hes trying to do is make it easy for people to associate it with concrete visuals, and getting high may have been how he felt, dissorentated, scared, not always knowing what to do, but in the end it will work out if you play it right. I don't think a champage supernova is a bad thing, I think it's where, in this case someone finds his/herself.
