2 posts	rhythm melody instruments lyrics vocal I absolutely love this song...the singer's got a great voice, and the lyrics give a poetic feeling of the tear in the singer's heart between a former girlfriend whom he still has feelings for and a new girlfriend for whom he does not share the same feelings. I especially like the acoustic version of this song. It's hard to find, but it's out there, and it is amazing! Hinder has caught my eye and I'll be keeping tabs on them, looking for anything new they come out with. If it's anything like "Lips of an Angel", it will be phenomenal!

5 posts	rhythm melody instruments lyrics vocal it's been a long time since there has been a truly great song like this..........most songs today are mostly about S3X and money and $tripper$ and stuff and there are those songs that are cool yea whatever but then if you really look at the lyrics on most of them you think like "what the hell does that mean!!!!" like panic at the disco's i write sins not tradgedies.....yeah i like that osng but just because it's catchy and stuff.....but whatever "lips of an angel" is a true classic and serioulsy one fo the best songs out there.....I LOVE HINDER!!!!!!!!!!!

This song to some brings sadness others obviously seem to love it. I've head it a few times, I do enjoy it because its different than some of the music I've heard. However, Im not a huge fan of any other music besides urban (rap, hip hop, r&b, etc) so I really have to listen the first time before I like something. I noticed someone wrote about Panic at the disco. They suck.Their song sucks so much, my ears are about to bleed and make me deaf when I first hear the couple cords that come on. But yes. To the woman who's husband is sneaking around, I feel sorry for you only because its unfortunate that he would do that. Its a crappy feeling and i wouldnt wish that so anyone (whom i actaully liked). To the other people that are ranting on about "OMG I LOVE LOVE LOVE this song" be aware that everything is interpreted differently to others and that if someone decided they feel its about cheating, thats their opinion.

But whats making me mad is everyone who is sitting there saying how its painful because they are the * girl in the next room * well okay i can understand that. But if were going to look and discuss what this song means lets look at it from all views. What about the guy whose in love with his ex girlfriend. I understand the theory of well then dont go get a new g/f if ur not over the ex. but did you think that maybe him and his ex got seperated by distance or some other * uncontrollable * force. I mean you never get over ur first real love do you ? And when i hear this song thats how he is making this girl seem like * an angel * his first real love. SO think of it that way to maybe the girl is 5000 miles away at college or whereever and hes in love with her still but they agreed to try to move on. So think abou tthe sympathy for the guy and girl on the phone 2. Its hard both ways !

My ex and I didn't have a closure either. It was a terrible break up due to circumstances. I miss him and still care about him, and I'm pretty sure he still cares as well. We began talking again yesterday since our break up and I know that it's just there. Right now I'm playing this song and looking at his picture I found in my desk drawer today. This song is just making me cry and as much as I try to hold the tears back, it still hurts.
