Hey guys (and girls) im TOTALY on your side . i just love RHCP and like meezu said that he listned to under the bridge for a whole day. well I listen to it all the time . And I mean it , ALL THE TIME . i mean regullary groups u like a song and listen to it all the time but after a while u get bored at it. but the lame thing whith Under The Bridge is that u dont get bored listening to it i must say RHCP is the best group ever . i started listen to them for a couple of years ago . i remembed the first song I heard was " Scar Tissue" and i thought it just owned so I looked up a tab to it and because i never played guitare it was really difficult but i tried and tried and at last i could the whole song. the point im saying is that RHCP started me to play guitar (i didnt even like playing guitar before). so now im sitting here whith my 13 year old brother and playing all the songs that the chillis done. sorry for my bad english im from SWEDEN. PEACE!

a great song to cry to. i listened to it every night for a year. i still listen to it almost every day. my favorite song for years. simple yet emotional. gets the point across to those who know a little bit about the chili peppers. i'm a rock geek, i can play it on guitar.
meaning? wild guess: drugs. possibly expressing how much it sucks to be doing drugs and not be able to stop? anthony *lead vocals* was almost kicked out of the band way back for skipping too many rehearsals *partying* after hillel *ex-guitarist* died, flea and anthony probably got the wind knocked out of them pretty bad, bad enough to stop doing drugs. forever. under the bridge is where anthony used to get the drugs.
