I never really heard the lyrics but I liked the mysterious quality of the rhythm in certain parts of the song. I downloaded it today, and I'm having one of those emotional days. I cried so hard when I first listened to it. It's so powerful. I'm at that point in my life, being 20 and going through some "what do I want to do with myself?" issues, where a song like this really makes me THINK about the question..."are you where you want to be?" Well, off to do some thinking.

As you may know, Switchfoot's lyrics are based on Christianity, but this is your life, do you go to church on sundays and be a spiritual person and the other six days of the week, you go out and do bad things. That is hypocrisy! But this is your life, I gave a devotion once and I based it on this song, I said I can't change your lifestyle, but you can, we can also help.
