Chris Martin has a great voice and Coldplay has a great vision. But they need to be a little more coherent. I mean, what idea is Chris trying to convey to we the people? What is the message? It is an excellent song, no doubt, but it is great only because it is anthemic, and it is anthemic because of the great production work. The piano figure sorta reminds me of part of "Joy of Man's Desiring." It is the kind of song that, because of its catchy melody, gets placed on movie trailers (at least one Disney animated film) and every VH-1 Behind the Music Special. Will Champion's drumming at the end really drives the tune home.
