vocal "Hello" is an amazing song and it is written about Amy's little sister's death.
Just to make some things clear :
1. Amy Lee originally didnt want to include this track in Fallen because of it's very personal meaning [she wrote it for her sister]. Although, Sony and Wind-Up records forced her to include it in Fallen [good 4 us!] as long as 'My Immortal'
2. This song is never included in Evanescence's live sets [no wonder why u didnt listen to it in Live in Paris]. Its Amy's decision not to play it, respecting her sister's memory.
Other than that, this song is amazing, and I have sheet music for it and My Immortal, in case anyone is interested.

vocal i didnt know about amy's sister... everytime i listened to it i just thought about my friend's mother who passed away.. (she died about the same time i got the album..)
i heard this song once a few years ago, but i was too young to know what it meant, i forgot about it really until my friend played it on the piano, then i listened to it and it was soooooooo sad, it kinda makes you think about how your own life could be a cover up, like everything is ok but its not. but ya i love this song a lot

vocal oh this song. i dont know where to begin.
i LOVE this song. it is so incredibly sad and i cry every time i hear it. i was gonna sing it for a talent show but i wouldnt have been able to without crying. i didnt even know what it was about but all of evanescence's songs are so deep and meaningful, which is what i like in a song. songs are no good without metaphors. which is why i dont like rap or country.
but i learned, today, what this song was about and now every time i listen to it im probably gonna be even more sad. i agree with everyone who says amy lee has a beautiful voice. she does. it is amazing! mixed emotions, you see? it makes me sad, it makes me sleepy, and i love it. it relaxes me i guess. in an odd way. its so pretty.

vocal This song is great, it's just Amy Lee and the piano, which is more effective than it being the full band. I always listen to it to calm down and do my homework because the quiet piano in the background is all the support Amy ever really needs and I think on some of the other songs on that album, the backing track is OTT and too loud. Bye bye!
