Has anyone ever thought about the lyrics in this song...I think it's real deep but I havn't understand all of it yet. 1 posts	rhythm melody instruments lyrics vocal I don't know if anyone caught this, as I didn't read through ALL the comments, but I noticed some people wondering about what the song is about. It seems like it's a reference to Plato's Cave Analogy, in which people spend there lives inside a cave, only knowing that world and thinking that it's reality, when really there's a world outside the cave. In the analogy someone escapes from the cave and goes into the light. It first talks about his journey into the light (aka enlightenment) will at first be painful (as when you walk from a dark room to a really bright room) but eventually (when he reaches full enlightenment) he will be able to stare at the sun. At least that's what I think Thrice is referring to in this song, I could be off, but they seem pretty in tune with philosophical concepts, etc.
