This song just reminded me of how one person can put you through so much pain, and change. I've learnt alot from him and hopefully the thngs I've learnt will prevent me from going through the same pain the next time around. The lyrics just expalin all of those feelings so well and im grateful to Kelly for putting this son on her CD.

Kelly's getting her American Idol voice back...well kind of...that's what made me love her music the first time, but when she released the new album, I kind of got pissed because she messed up her true voice that won her the AI title. I only like this song and 'Behind These Hazel Eyes' off the new album. I love this song for 2 reasons: 1) Great lyrics that I can relate to and great writing team. When you've got Moody and Hodges co-writing, you know it's gonna turn out good yup, yup. and 2) for the reason I stated in my first paragraph... Even though Kelly says it's about her family and living in a broken home, I can relate to it in a different way. I interpret as not only being cautious that you won't make the same mistakes as your family, but also being cautious to the point where you don't feel like your living at all, and you were kind of taught to live in fear of everything that might cause the least bit of harm. Sorry for making my comment so long, I just felt like putting my bit in there...

59 posts	o yea and btw w/ all that mess of stuff about who gets the credit...ok...Kelly wrote the song when she was 16 then...she went to david and ben and they looked over the lyrics and edited them a lil helped out w/ the music and the overall sound and if u have the dvd he talks bout how you can get the lyrics like enunciated (spellin) using different instruments that can connect w/ the audience...so idk if the lyrics would have been the same if they didn't help. they all deserve the same amount of credit though
