My friend mentioned 'everyone knows I'm in over my head' for some reason, and, without knowing I had ever heard the song before, that part of it played nonstop through my head for about a week, until I heard it on the radio.... now I'm replaying it again and again. I love it.

We become confused about our identity, and while we are busy repairing ourselves, are friendships are detrimented beyond repair. The friends that remain when the smoke clears are the friends that help you find who you are, who were understanding of the changes you were enduring and willing to help close the gap during those times in the cable car. The pressure in these struggles is like that of the last play in overtime, where it's come down to this, all or nothing. And it's regrettable that some friends are lost, but such is life, and new friends will come, just as others will go.

And it kind of annoys me that it's called Cable Car when it's said once in the song, but I suppose that it's dedicated to his brother. And I think his other brother's in the music video. LOVE IT
