It does have a religious meaning but for those of you who said, 'oh nickelback's sending us the false information about how we could get to heaven' Bugger off then, you can go and read your bible alone. It's a very genuine song, and of course they were like picturing an image of heaven where everyone gets along with each other, it's not teaching us what we should do in order to get to heaven, it's just saying that if everyone cared then this world will be a much nicer place. And if everyone really cared from the start then god wouldn't punish us for our sins...ok i'll stop being religious

While it can be interpreted that way, the meaning to me is more about what the world could be like, if no one hated each other. What the world could be like if everyone respected and accepted each other for who they were, even while their views differ from each other's. I think the line, 'when nobody dies' could mean, not so much that no one would ever die, but that a day when you don't see or hear about a person being killed from ignorance, or hate, or pride.

I personally love this song and am tired of people who just "don't get stuff" thinking the song means if they are good people they won't die. Has anyone seen the video? I normally don't watch videos but this one is a great one to match the song.

4 posts	Alongside "Savin' Me" this is another of not just my favourite of Nickelback songs.. but my favourite songs of all time. Nickelback have outdone themselves yet again.. the lyrics are powerful.. the whole song is just fantastic.. the video is absolutely brilliant.. and gives everyone something stunningly visual.. it certainly gives you alot to think about. If you haven't checked out the video for this song yet.. I strongly suggest you do.. it really does change your perception on the song as a whole. Fantastic!! 10/10
