| i like this song. in chicago it is hardly ever played so i have to listen to it on the computer. oh well. i like it better than dare you to move. the other one seems like they are whining. i love the music too. |

I don't really like this song...Though I think it's awesome that they are a christian band spreading the word about Jesus Christ. There are better christian rock bands out there though such as Skillet, Anberlin, Relient K, Pillar, Thousand Foot Krutch/FM static, and Kutless. It's still not a bad song the lyrics are really good and the meaning is even better  |

| This song really is a good one. I heard it so many times and didn't know who it was by or what it was called. Finally figured it out, and now it's on non-stop. I think this is a great song about our generation, but also shows the short coming and half-hearted attempts at what we'd really like to accomplish. But it also shows the longing for more, the hope for an even better life, better than that of our fathers |

If you really listen to the lyrics then you will be able to see past the melody or the rythm. YOu be able to see that we were meant to live for so much more. And we do expect on other things but GOd to help us throughout our journies in life. And really the owrld has past Him by. You all need to give your whole lives to God and Jesus. Even I need to comit myself fully to God. Jesus dies for you. What are you going to give him in return? |

(FYI - for clarity that means he's dead and not coming back.)
for people alienated by how much cruelty and crass materialism there is in this world, this song offers a sense of connection and purpose, which is - tragically - far from offering any real meaning or purpose. i find it abysmally disappointing.

this is a good album. all their songs in this one is good, starting with Meant to Live all the way to 24. i love all of them. Switchfoot is indeed a good band, they project good image too. |
