vocal Being a fan from the start, since the Evanescence EP has come out, and Origin was released (which I do have an original copy =p) I can say that Evanescence has come a really really long way. This album is really beautiful and so is Call Me When You're Sober. Amy is really talented, and in my opinion, she should have been known a lot earlier. Their stuff keeps changing for the better. Listen to the older stuff, and you'll get the picture. For those of you who fileshare, the old evanescence is all over those programs, and the band encourages you to download their old stuff. (it's not sold anymore, so they won't loose any money over it.)
If you wanna see how their stuff changes, download the Ev EP version of Imaginary, the Origin version of Imaginary, and the two Imaginary demos, then listen to the Fallen Imaginary. You'll be blown away.

The lyrics are perfect! The song is so perfect, and the lead singer has one of the most amazing voices I have ever heard.

I listened to Evanescence's whole cd on AOL music, and I think it's more goth sounding than any of the other CD's. Call Me When You're Sober is the only 'different' sounding song on the cd. It's softer than the others. I personally like this new cd more than the others. I love Evanescence, but Call Me When You're Sober isn't my favorite of all their songs, but the other tracks on the new cd make up for it.

vocal well, i must admit, i never really called myself an evanescense fan, i mean they are totally kickass in every way. But still i never really was a die hard fan, im not worthy. People knew about this song since january. Gosh. well anyways, this song is kool. i can dig it. I just hope that the new generation of posers out there won't get any ideas, nor i hopefully i won't here any stupid comments like, "My band sounds like Amy Lee's band". another one of those and i could burst!!!! well there CD comes out tomorrow, i might check it out.
