It has a nice beat and he uses a good sense of humour on this track ((The gay/putt putt thing)). And you guys...the Christopher Reeves thing...over! It's Em...he kids around. He says in the song, "I have no beef with him either" so why the hell do u think he's showing disrespect??? |

3 posts | I'm no authority on the subject of Eminem and his dealings, but Christopher Reeves obviously had to say something about censorship and Shady's lyrics. The song begins with Eminem downtalking censors and says "Christopher Reeves won't sit for this..." I suppose he means the censorship issue. Reeves seems like the type of person who would be against Em's lyrics. After all, the guy was Superman. Eminem is a human. He has a heart. He probably dislikes to see people die. Chris rolled out on a bad note. There's no beef, but Eminem had an opinion to express and that's what he does. Consider it a tribute.
Overall, good song. Not immediately catchy. It took a few listens to get good the vibe, but it's there. |

And for everyone saying hes dissing C. Reeves. no hes not. like Jay-Z says in "Renagade", "Do u listen to music or do u jsut skim through it?".You have to understand that this is eminem. He JOKES AROUND alot. plus if ur gonna take everything he says serious, then take that he said, "i have no beef with him" and "he was my hero" seriously. eminem has to be one of the greates mc's of all time and is up there with jay-z, kanye, jada kiss, 2pac. just to name a few.(not in that order). Eminem music is very comlex, and his ryme schemes are crazy. he even says in "never enough?" something about the average listner having to rewind his music 20 times to understand his rymes. this is so true, me and my boy are usually explaing lyrics to people a lot. anyways, Em is the king, and u have to give credit where credit is due. this is a good song. case closed. its not GREAT, and its not in his top 10, but it doesn't suck, and it has strong points. |
