| Mexican 12-piece tropical band Chicos de Barrio starded in Torreon, Cahuila Mexico then burst into the local pop music scene mixing urban and Latin rhythms such as cumbia and vallenato. After issuing the successful Ven a Bailar and La Lola, Chicos de Barrio returned in 2001 with Dominando y Controlando, produced by lead singer Dimas Maciel and keyboardist Juan Angel Nájera. The album features the hit single "El Baile del Gavilán." |
