Chili's Album Signing

It was recently announced that former TLC member Chili has signed a deal with Akon's Konvict Records, is distributed through Interscope records. The diminuitive singer/rapper said she signed directly with Konvict records rather than with major label Interscope because she liked Akon's grind and his production skills.
The deal is reported to be a 4 album contract with an expected initial album release date scheduled for summer 2006. Chilli has completed 16 songs for her new CD. The album will involve collaborations with executive producer Missy Elliott and Konvict label head, Akon.
She announced the deal during the Hill Harper book signing at entertainment attorney Charles Mathis's mansion on June 16th.
Chilli also said she was appreciative of fans who downloaded her illegally leaked single "Gameproof". But she has taken steps to prevent any further leaks until the album officially drops.
It's been confirmed that the planned first single is called 'Straight Jack Em (ft/ Missy Elliott)'.
