| Song lyrics |
Chorus:
I was thinkin' the other day,
"What if cartoons got saved?
They'd start singing praise
In a whole new way..."
Yeah, I was thinkin' the other day,
"What if cartoons got saved?
They'd start singing praise
In a whole new way..."
Fred and Wilma Flintstone
Sing "Yabba-dabba-do-yah"
Scooby-doo and Shaggy:
"Scooby-dooby-doo-yah"
And the Jetsons' dog named Astro:
"Raa-ray-roo-yah"
(repeat chorus)
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles:
"Cowabunga-loo-yah, Dude!"
Then there's, "Kermit the Frog here, singing,
High-ho-le-loo-yah"
And that little bald guy, Elmer Fudd:
"How-ay-woo-yah"
(repeat chorus)
Oh that big old moose and his friend Rocky,
"Bullwinkle-loo-yah"
And our favourite bear named Yogi,
"Hey, Boo-Boo-loo-ya"
Then there's all those little blue guys
And they'd sing, "Hah-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-lay-loo-yah"
How about Beavis and that other guy?
"Nah!!"
Now, there's a point to this looney-tune
I'm not an Animaniac
But there's a lot of praisin' to do
And cartoons weren't made for that
It's our job
So, let's sing hallelujah

This is a great song. Chris did a fantastic job. I loved how he brought out the character's personalities on how they'd sing hallelujah. I really loved the part with the Smurfs. I also loved the lines "So what is the point of this looneytoon? I am no animaniac." Fantastic play on words right there. This is actually my type of song as I tend to think up stuff like this (I've never wondered, though, how cartoons would praise if they were saved.). | 22-11-2004 17:38 je_suis_cool | 874 posts

| Awesome song. I wonder if he did all the voices himself or if he got the real voice talents to help him? | 16-06-2007 06:52 hecarriesme | 236 posts

Eh. It's OK. It used to really annoy me, but it's bearable now. Chris Rice IS very talented though... I have to hand it to him there! |
