| Song lyrics |
A broad incision sits across the evening
The victim to our fathers' lost war
The restless children sit and mourn the graves
Of those they've never seen before
Will they be buried here among the dead
In the silent secret
The pioneers
In dealing with it they march for dawn...of will and worthy
The truth be told the child was born
Man your own jackhammer
Man your battle stations
We'll have you dead pretty soon
And now
Sincerely written from my brother's blood machine, oh
Man your battle stations
We'll have you home pretty soon
And now
Awake through motion
With curious to curtain your first move
Over arms length they'll break protocol
Jealous envy for the youngest one
To be the hero is all I'll ask
Can I be buried here among the dead
With room to honor me here in the end
You'll be better off too soon
You'll be better off when you get home
The pioneers
In dealing with it they'll march for dawn...for will and worthy
The truth be told the child was born
Man your own jackhammer
Man your battle stations
We'll have you dead pretty soon
And now
Sincerely written from my brother's blood machine, oh
Man your battle stations
We'll have you home pretty soon
And now
For you I'd do anything
Just to make you happy
Hear you tell me that your proud of me
For them I'll kill anything
Cut the throats of babies for them
Break their hearts for they were them
Waiting for you to say
I love you too
The navigator
The pilot
Her favorite
The one they call the vision that bears the gift
The navigator
The pilot
Her favorite
The one they call the vision that bears the gift
Will, do the children really understand the things you did to them
And why oh why
Should they conjure up the will
For you my love I would kill him
We're coming home pretty soon
We're coming home
In the seventh turning hour
Will the victims shadow fall
Should the irony grow hungry
With the victory and all they sought for
We were one among the fence
One among the fence
Woah...Woah (15X)
Woah...
Woah...
Woah...
Coming...
Coming...
Night...
Night...
Now we're coming home...
Man your own jackhammer
Man your battle stations
We'll have you dead pretty soon
And now
Sincerely written from my brother's blood machine, oh
Man your battle stations
We'll have you home pretty soon
Till then...

Hmmm... I dunno. On track 2, I'm still hearing "Man your own JACKHAMMER" as opposed to "Man your own, TAKE COVER". Anyone care to chime in here and offer thier two cents??? | 30-10-2004 03:00 brittyjade | 1 posts

I love this guys voice, so their songs could totally suck, and they'd still be awesome.Fortunatly, you can have both a spectaculus voice and lyrics w/ this band. * offtopic : does anyone else find the lead singer very attractive?

ok hombres and senoritas.....
Coheed and cambria or formerly known as shabutie(hence Itttts Shabutie in Devil in jersey city) took up the name of coheed and cambria for this 4 part epic, Entitled Coheed and cambria(YATZEE) Now they are pullin some george lucas shit on us now they put out the 2nd part first witch is the story of the melt down and battle of a family(probably of some major importance) the 3rd part is about the war caused by this the 4th will be the resolution and then go back to 1st , the begining of the dilema, After the 4 part series is done CLAUDIO!!! is in the works of making a graphic novel for it (REALLY LONG COMIC BOOK) because theyre really into that, AND IT WILL BE GOD ALMIGHTY AWSOME!.. so get that too
---------------------------------------------------------
now when they say "man your own jack hammer" they are NOT refering to the conventional tool used by construction workers, It is actually a nickname for a gun i think used bak in WW2
---------------------------------------------------------
another people dont understand is claudios high pitched voice!.. Well claudio was n 80's baby so he grew up listening to all the wonderful metal bands of the 80's with theyre high pitched voices, his mother would constantly play and sing in the car and whatnot so he developed superior skils in that field. Now dont be mistaken he ALSO has great regular voice singing from the stomache and he is heard to be using that in either part 1 or part 4

I think the jackhammer thing is reffering to an automatic combat shotgun...if anyone here remembers the game "Fallout 1 & 2", it was present there and it ment pwnage 4 joo!

Completely awesome song! I just have one question. What was changed when Amber corrected the lyrics? I originally posted this with what I thought were the correct lyrics because i couldnt stand the fact that all the others were so far off, but I cant even tell what was "corrected" by Amber. It looks exactly like what i put up originally. Oh well, the song still rocks as does the band. | 20-02-2005 22:07 punkpointfive | 2 posts

First of all the song starts out as Claudio is coming from the future to tell Newo(i think havent listened to this song i a long time) but anyways Claudio has come from the future and is tell her about what is going to happen. The basic structure is Coheeds four children are being held safe from the "Red Army" and the part that says "We'll have you dead(home) real soon" indicates that it is a tough battle and that they do not think there going to make it. Later on in the song when it states" in the seventh turning hour.." it is saying that they are severly loosing the battle and Coheeds Four children have been captured and it is up to Coheeds brother to find them and return them, hence how the songs breakdown sounds. Then after the Woahs and We're coming, its stating that Coheeds brother is pissed and will do anything to get the children back, but they end up loosing and the children are either killed or just plain captured i forgot. in the next song is the true battle and Coheeds brother feels was his responsiblity to watch the children and he wants true revenge on the upcoming war | 11-03-2005 15:22 Archeon | 6 posts
| ohh yeah by the way "sincerly written for my brothers blood machin" YES that is how the line is stated it means that the war is Sincerly written for his brothers blood machine(Claudio who posses the power to destroy the world or save it). thats what it means not to hard to figure out if your REALLY listen in for the lyrics | 18-03-2005 04:04 Incky | 288 posts
| WAit, to the dude who posted b4 me,is Claudio still telling Newo all this, about Jesse saving them and all, or did he tell her about the battle, and then Jesse saves everyone? |
