Anyway, a band kid with a 'fro had a mag that says that the song is about Apollo's (The writer of the entire story in the album) subconscience, Ten Speed. Not too sure on the rest, but that should be good enough to get that started. Post more, to link up the story folks.

19 posts	Well, I wasn't really checking back on the boards, but let me set it straight, his subconscience, yes. Apollo has a little invisible monkey (or a demonic ten speed bicycle if you will) on his shoulder. And Ten Speed doesn't want him to finish writing the story for reasons I don't know yet, and Apollo is fighting against it, and he "doesn't want a ride tonight" from Ten Speed, maybe that means no advice, but either way, subconscience.

19 posts	I think I missed the mark in that last post, but if you all don't already know: There are 2 Apollo's. There's the dog Apollo, lovable, and such a good listener. And there's the disfigured, lonely, and slighty schizaphrenic (WAY SP). He is basically God, or as close as you can get, to the cast of Coheed & Cambria. He can write them out, kill them off, save the day, or whatever the hell he wants. But the album is entirely (ok, well I THINK entirely, could be just mostly) in his perspective.

Apollo is a freakin dog not the writer The Writing Writer which is referred to in Apollo I: the writing writer is the Claudio (The Character) if you have the graphic novel you find out that there are two Claudios in this story Claudio (The Writer) and Claudio (The Character) basically this is a story in a story. And Ten Speed you guys are right this represents Claudio (The Writer) sub-conscience or in other words his other side of thinking or what he wants to do but shouldnt. Ten speed is telling him to kill her off to get rid of his pain and all the time Claudio (The Writer) is thinking he telling him to kill Erica Court and all along it was Amberlina he wanted was telling him to wipe out of the story cause Claudio (The Writer) is using her as an example of what he wished things could have been like with Erica Court and everytime he see his story it brings back his pain which is why Ten Speed wants her out of the story. Well I hope this clears up some stuff if you really want to understand buy The Good Apollo graphic novel.

And ten speed whant to end the story ten speed is telling the writer to kill erica or if not her her charecter equivilent

2 posts	Ok, inside the story, theres a writer of another story There is: Claudio Sanchez- The Singer/Comic Writer The Writer- The writer in the story, writing the story of Claudio Kilnigan or whatever= The character of Claudio Sanchez's story, respectfully, but also the character of The Writer. Anyway, the Writer is losing his grip on reality, and his subconcious comes up in the form of his bicycle, known as the Ten Speed, or Demonic Bicycle The Writer has lost his grip, because he saw his girlfriend, Erica Court, cheating on him, so Ten Speed wants The Writer to kill Ambelina off in his story, because she represents Erica Court. I just figured out the spoken part when I read the comic, it is as follows: Ten Speed: So, are you going to kill her off? Writer: No, I love her character she stays. Ten Speed: The only thing love's done is to put you in this posistion, I say kill her off Writer: Yeah, but you say a lot of things and how's the work, your a bicycle. Give or take a few things because of how fast the song is, but most of those words seem to be there. Hope this clears a few things up.

10 posts	For those who said that there are 2 APOLLOS as far as i know they're wrong! There's only ONE Apollo and it's a Dog, it's Newo's Dog. Read Claudio's post in Cobaltandcalcium.com The one that Ten Speed Song is talking about is The Writing Writer. Which could be Claudio(The Musician) Himself. Using these songs as a pause in the main Plot, and writing a side story about Ten Speed ( An Evil Influence in the form of a bycicle) which wants him to kill some character ( maybe Ambellina or Newo ) confusing the writer.
