The essential information is as follows: Coheed and Cambria are actually a husband and wife, who reside on Earth sometime in the distant future. Earth has been part of a Keyhold of 78 other planets, but has broken free. At some point, Coheed was injected by a poisonous dragonfly (whose silhouette haunts the band's performance), and turned into the evil Monstar.
All of the couple's children are killed, except for Claudio, who may hold the secret to saving the universe. Toss in a Han Solo-like ship captain, who happens to like killing young white girls, and mystical goddesses that protect the planets and you have the mind-warping, insanely addictive repertoire of the band.
The first CD is mostly about Coheed killing the children (Who I'm pretty sure are Maria, Matthew, and Josephene) while the second album focuses more on the killing of random people when Coheed becomes the monster. THe third album is supposed to focus more on the man writing the story and how things happening to him effect the story.
Anyway, I'm just excited to hear the last few songs on the last album. You know, what with the earth either ending or being saved...should make for a wonderful live show. | 0 @ 03-06-2005 00:59 Minotaur782003 | 87 posts

OMGOSH THAT EXPLANATION WAS SOOOO WRONG! LET ME GIVE YOU THE REAL FACTS!!
Alright, it had been years since Claudio escaped from the chamber of doom(al)(alf) claudio knew he had to do somthing drastic to find out what really happended to that ship that snowy, august day, suddenly he awoke from his daze and found himself in what appeared to be the velorium camper.. but no.. al(alf)(patty)(ALL ONE PERSON) sunk that ship, Claudio knew he had very little time if he wanted to sail the ship to the Starlight Prizing Inferno for one last duel.. little did he know though, the five aclock shadow was sneaking up on him..
ALRIGHT GUYS I DONT WANNA GIVE IT ALL AWAY SO I'LL LET YOU FIGURE THE REST OUT!! ROCK N ROLL!! WOOHOO! YEAH COHEED!! | 0 @ 08-10-2005 20:36 Earthheart | 7 posts

anything past the song "A Devil in Jersy City: Is not known to anyone but the band but hea ris my interpretation of this song (taken from a larger pice I have on all the songs)
The red army is after Jesse and the IRO-Bots.
Jesse's preparing his men to charge forward in a final stand. They're all uneasy, but he asks "Are you ready on my mark?" before giving the signal. The only comforts for his men are their weapons, or being in arms. They know they can't stop what they're facing, but they really have no choice other to surrender and they wish they can kill it. Sometime during this battle he finds that Chase, his "daughter" and necessary for not losing the war, was captured. He tries to call in others to help or something of the sort, but his COM link is broken. So, he turns himself over for Chase. He expects her to be returned back to his side in the exchange, and I assume that's what happened. It doesn't necessarily have to be Jesse, it could be the other boy shown at the beginning of the comic, but for my interpretation it is Jesse. |
