| Does anyone know whose point of view this song is from?
I'm leaning towards Claudio about Newo but that's just a guess. I was also kind of thinking the writer, because this album is supposed to have some things about him.

and 'Rush' sounds like a name of an upbeat band...

First: Learn a little, There's a story behind it
Second: Listen to the song, it isn't Emo.
Third: I listen to emo bands, and Coheed is not and Emo Band.
Yeah and for the people who will post the phrase "get a life ass**le" before they do, i want to say that i have one, but its a boring sunday.
And Yeah, Claudio is an amazing singer. And He didn't cut his balls off, that's ¡just beyond inmature and stupid.
The interpretation to this song that i have, is that Maybe the Writer is dreaming. In some point of the story he said goodbye to Erica, before finding out she was cheating on him. So He remembers that he still loves her after all that anger in the past four songs, but he's now trying to "wake up" from all those old fantasies.

| Sorry about posting twice, but it came to my mind, that maybe the story is returning to the main Plot. Remember that in the previous album Claudio said goodbye to newo (the character) so maybe Claudio is remembering that moment. When he told her "i'm not coming home, don't write to me". I believe that in this song "the writer" is talking about Erica Court. A big chunk of GA, IBS IV: vol. 1 is about the writer's own personal life. When he says this story is for you..., I believe he means that literally. The story he's writing is for Erica.
Nobody really knows...Claudio likes to hear all different interpretations of his lyrics.
