I first heard this song a little over a month ago at two or so in the morning. We were driving for a bad reason - because my grandmother had been put in the hospital, and we were going to go see her. It was on a dark stretch of road between cities (I live in a very empty state) and there wasn't much on the radio, so it was on a random station. I was sitting in the car and staring at the dark when I started to listen to the song playing. It was this song, and I thought it was beautiful. It was calming in a way, and it was nice to hear it.
We left ten or so days later after she passed away, heading back home after a long, tiring, sad trip. We drove in the day this time, and along the same way we had come... We drove through this particular stretch of road, things in the car just as quiet as they had been that first night we drove up, with nothing on the radio but the same station. It was green outside now, with yellow flowers dancing in the breeze, and as I listened I couldn't believe it - It was this pretty, calming song again.
Recently I started thinking of it again, and decided to look it up on here. All I could remember were the lyrics "let your hair down", so I figured I would have a tough time traipsing through all the songs to find it... And yet it was the first result.

This is the song my mom has been bugging me to download for ages. But the song isn't called "Let Your Hair Down". So I had the worst time finding it. I heard it on the radio on the way to an amusement park yesterday while I was half asleep, and it was so peaceful, yet strangely upbeat. And I love her voice! It's really cool.
