Counting Crows Biography

Formed in August of 1991 in San Fransico's Bay Area, Counting Crows gained a strong local following before signing with Geffen's DGC label to record their first album August and Everything After which landed in late 1993. Counting Crows didn't really take off nationally until they filled in for Van Morrison at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame ceremony in 1994. On the back of the one upbeat track on the entire album, Mr. Jones, August and Everything After became a national hit, reaching 4 on the Billboard... »
