Anyways, I'm so looking forward to the album For all you Europeans, it's out September 27th and everywhere else, it'll be out September 28th. There are other songs from their album that I found you can download from Ares, they are just as wicked, you should try searching for them too. So far, I got: Gabrielle, Absinthe With Faust, Medusa And Hemlock, English Fire and Filthly Little Secret. All sounding superb!

I have this one, "Gilded C***", "Gabrielle", "Medus and Hemlock", "English Fire", "Filthy Little Secret" and the last one, "Swansong For A Raven". Great songs! I can't wait untill the 28.9, be sure that I'll be one of the firsts that'll buy it.

24,514 posts	he doesnt add the lyrics cuz no one has them yet and if you try and listen to the songs to interpret the lyrics...most likely you wont get it right because its COF we are talking about here....theres no way you can get the lyrics word for word just by listening to it

106 posts	You right, I forgot about this problam. I tried to look for the lyrics in Google and more, but I found nothing... Do you know the band "Children of Bodom"? Who is better, "Children of Bodom" or "Cradle of Filth"? I think that "Cradle of Filth" are better, because I like Black Metal more than Death Metal. I like gothic music like this ( ).

106 posts	You can't know if they'll put the lyrics in the booklet, I have the "Bitter Suites to Succubi" album (That is a great one, I have to say) and they didn't use the booklet as a place to put the lyrics in. I wish they'll put the lyrics in the booklet of this album... By the way, I'm from Israel. When will the album arrive here? On the 28 of September?

348 posts	The album was released in the UK today, and it's incredible!!! I was outside HMV at 9am waiting for the doors to open, lol. Was so worth it though! All you Americans get yours on the 28th...Enjoy!! PS: It has the lyrics in the booklet, which is why they are up on the site already, lol.

Yup it is still a very good song, but I don't see authenticity no more in Cradle of Filth . I don't know why they changed of style but they lost true fans. Now only losers who think they're cool goes to the shows, not like in the mid-90s, where only pure hearts, who could really understand what dani meant with his tourmenting lyrics, were.

12 posts	rhythm melody instruments lyrics vocal This is COF's worst album yet. But COF's worst are better than most bands best. Most of the songs were a complete let down from the great intros like swansong for a raven. They totally went soft, although the more melodic sound shows that these musicians arent only sticking to heavy black metal. I would rather listen to Damnation And A Day, but there are some good songs on this album, for example, gilded cunt, nemesis, english fire, and filthy litte secret. Those are the heaviest songs on the album. When their next album comes out i hope its back to the old headbanging black metal that brought us Scortched Earth Erotica, Mannequin, Carrion, Babalon A.D. and Her Ghost In The Fog. I cant say this is a complete let down however because there are some pretty cool riffs in the middles and ends of some of the sogs, but i dont think its enough to redeem them. Ive been a fan of COF ever since Total Fucking Darkness in 93-94, and i think this is the worst theyve brought to us. But i can say that the their performance in Ozzfest was spectacular. All in all i wish it were a heavier album......but hopes for the future.

12 posts	it sucks that COF is forced to play more melodic songs to rake in more cash because god knows that they work hard to produce what they have in the past. It was great when they played what they wanted to and what they loved to play. I did some research and theres one song already done for the album and its ridiculously heavy, back to the old days for tru COF fans. I can not wait til next year.
