25 posts	I love this song. The beginning is so beautiful, and the choir at the end. He's a funny little man, in fact they're a funny little band but yeah they're cool and early 90s so I like 'em. I don't know what this song means, but for some reason it used to scare me when I was little. I thought he was talking about scary things But yeah the song is nice and calming, it's a good night-driving song.

1 posts	It's taken me a long time to work out what i think this song means. When I was younger I just found it quite funny because of the odd chorus. However, now I think that the song is about people thinking they've got it really bad in life but at the end of the day there is always somebody worse off than they are. Nothing is as bad as it seems at first.

56 posts	this song is so.. idk, its a weird song. and its really good. and when i first heard it, i thought, wow.. this song is sooo sad!! and then i actually heard all the lyrics... and its still sad, but its... different, i guess. because the situations seem so weird. but yeah, i agree that its about how people think they have it bad, and then they realize that there's someone who has it worse off than them. i really like it.

2 posts	this is whta I have come up to..... in the song, in the each of the paragraphs or stansas, they talk about calssic school fraks who tend to have it really bad during their school years, but there is an important stansa in the song in which it is said thta botht the girl with the birthmarks and the white-haired boy were actually gad 'cuase they knew someone ho had id wore then them: the boy who's parents would do all thta show off in the church filling him with shame - whta this highlights is that even worse than the physical damage or what you might consider uglyness is the emotional damage... and the in the song it has been used something as strong as feelling true shame for your parents... and thta is worse than the physical marks thta the other two kids had - from there I gues the message is quite obvious, using this as truth right?

Maybe we hear only what other kids believe happened and they don't understand it but they still know it unconciensly...anyway, the song is great
