Cold, cold water surrounds me now
And all I've got is your hand
Lord, can you hear me now?
Lord, can you hear me now?
Lord, can you hear me now?
Or am I lost?
No one's daughter
Allow me that
And I can't let go of your hand
Lord, can you hear me now?
Lord, can you hear me now?
Lord, can you hear me now?
Or am I lost?
Don't you know I love you
And I always have
Hallelujah
Will you come with me?
Cold, cold water surrounds me now
And all I've got is your hand
Lord, can you hear me now?
Lord, can you hear me now?
Lord, can you hear me now?
Or am I lost?

vocal the most perfect song in the world ever? i think it could be....
i think the bit at the very end is backwards, but i cant think of a way to play it backwards, im workin on it and if i find out i will let you know what it says
anyone got any ideas on how to play stuff backwards?
"Love one's daughter"? It's actually "No one's daughter"... but, yeah, there is a connection. I also have to say that the vocals here... WOW. Especially when they sing together in the end (Damien going "Lord" and Lisa responding with "Can you hear me/now?"); I just love the way his voice almost cracks because it's so filled with emotion. It always makes me all teary-eyed. And the deep chorus is a strike of geniality.

I just played it backwards and it says 'will you come with me'. It's the same as the middle part of the song, where the deep voices sing also.
In the middle of the song they sing:
Don't you know I love you
And I always have
Hallelujah
Will you come with me?
They took the last line and played it backwards at the end of the song.
