 2 posts | I agree that this song is a bit too much sometimes, for example at the time with the opera-thing. I don't I hate it, but I don't think it's as good as the rest of the album "O".
I love the text, especially the part that begins with "rain it away". When I listen to Damien Rice, I really feel his passion for music, this guy is amazing and I REALLY wish that he'll come to Denmark soon. Or, it would be nice to see a new cd from him, but I haven't heard anything. I really love this man's music. |

 512 posts | This is the only Damien Rice song I really don't like. It's too... whiney for my taste, I guess. It doesn't feel complete, you know? And the opera... it just doesn't work at all. Too many strings. Sorry, but I think he totally overdid it here. The lyrics are sweet, but the rest just does not keep his usual standards. |

Just goes to show that this is truly a great album. Enjoy the easy going starter (the first 5 songs) and then savour the last 6 over some wine and a few months. Lovely. |
