 92 posts | As great as this song is on the album, it does no justice and you really haven't heard this song until you've heard him sing it live. He gets really into it and you can feel it when he screams "I'm Home" Love this song and love it even more live. Hafta love the lyrics SHARP DISASTER IN A FRESH NEW COMA...to me this is a song about getting ready to tell the 'other' that you're leaving...or preparing for an arguement all together |

1 posts | my friend saw this song as some girl, tell the guy in the song that he is basically dead to her. and now the guy in the song is basically being a jerk and makin fun of her. asking "am i missing? was the body found?" which at first made me laugh really hard. i hope you get what im trying to say because it makes sense in my mind... =) |

With all the "is there anything worth living for?" he's questioning whether it's worth living. And the part of the chorus in brackets is the guy thinking after he's died if people miss him, or if they haven't even found his body. Hmmm as I write this is starts sounding more and more far-fetched... but continuing Sharp disaster in a fresh new coma Was it worth it when it was over Proving yourself right You'd make the biggest noise Well I lock my hands behind my head I'd cover my heart and hit the deck I'd brace myself for the impact if I were you This part is as if the singer is warning the guy what suicide is... it's a "sharp disaster" for the family, and if he's thinking that no one will miss him and they do miss him, then it wasn't worth killing himself. "Brace myself for the impact if I were you"... the singer doesn't think the guy knows what he's going to cause. Well that's my idea... the song actually has kind of a happy tune to it though to me... anyway I love it |
