"This is a Forgery" for·ger·y (fôrj-r, fr-) n. pl. for·ger·ies: 1. The act of forging, especially the illegal production of something counterfeit. 2. Something counterfeit, forged, or fraudulent. -dictionary.com So perhaps he was somewhat going with that definition..."fraudulent." Maybe it's a slight stretch...lol. It shocked me, but it's something different and it's cool for them to try stuff out. As someone else said, let Chris have fun with an electric guitar for a bit. |

13 posts | Yeah, this is the first d/c song I didn't like. It like nothing that I've ever heard Chris do.... But it kinda reminded me of Further Seems Forever, but much worse. I listened to it all the way through, but i just couldn't get into it. The best dashbaord song is... (on the acoustic side) Screaming Infidelities (with drums), Anyone Anyone, and Ghost of a Good Thing. But these do change from day to day. Some really good stuff with the band is Several Ways To Die and Vindicated (and im not one of the stupid "non- hard core stupid girlish 12 year old dashbaord fans" The song Vindicated is really good! It has alot of emotion that i can connect with. Anyways I really hope that d/c doesn't do more stuff like "This is a Forgery" The need to stay accoustic. |

9 posts | i love dashboard confessional, but for some reason i couldn't bring myself to listen to this song all the way though....to be honest i found it quite pop-ish. Sorry if i'm 'one of those girls' but hands down does rule and i think age six racer is a good song too. |

25 posts | whoa first of all the song age six racer is VERY GOOD !! this song though.. um.. i have to say its the only dc song ive come to on a cd and have actually skipped. the dodododoood in the backround is nothing like dc.. if he just played acoustic this song would be a whole lot better. all around. |
