This song is my favourite dashboard song, it has so much feeling into it. i think that this song is about his ex-girlfriend and he's getting reminded of her, and he needs her back.

He's come to the realization that they're relationship is over, but he acknowledges the importance she meant to him.

He made some mistakes when they were going out, and he made some mistakes towards her feelings, but she stood by him.

They broke-up and he misses it so much, but it just didn't work out and he still really misses her, but he fights the urge to talk to her.

BEST line of the whole song. He says it because of the innocence of children. If children did fall in love when they were ten, the relationship would be perfect, there'd be no problems. I love dashboard it never gets old thats what i love about it... other songs get over played and useless but when i hear dashboard its like im home? i guess what im saying is that i can listen to all their songs over and over and over again and not get sick of them.
but heres what this song means to me.
