On December 15, Discograph will release Diam's' new album, named Black Session. Coming from nowhere, first scheduled for 2009 : what is her new project ?
After Dans Ma Bulle, Black Session will be Diam's' new album, released on Discograph on December 15 (a "street album"). But what happened to the Cyprus-born rapper, signed to Hostile Records until now, to release her new album so quickly, with no one thinking of it ?
Already available on record sellers' sites, this album includes 12 unreleased songs, recorded in studio. Diam's' Black Session should please to fans, because it includes new collaborations, from Sinik to L'Skadrille & also Philo (MA3) & Koma.
The French rapper's new album is a pass-by between her latest album, released in 2006, & the next one, scheduled for 2009. "I'm preparing a lot of beautiful things... Most of all, for your ears ! I thank you for being so present. I don't forget you... Not at all !" she said.
Update (November 28) : The album should be released without Diam's & her producer Hostile Records' (EMI Music France) authorization, according to the official communiqué. The singer hasn't been involved in the project, she doesn't know the tracks of this album, released without her courtesy. Also, news about Diam's' fourth studio album scheduled for December 2008 are wrong, according to Hostile Records. For the moment, Diam's' Black Session is still available on record sellers' sites...
