I do sometimes like this about my ex but not this exterme! I mean i just feel like saying stupid women!!get over it and move on!!though i can't really talk!!I just feel like serval times when i hear this song!!She just needs a good slap for thinking like this! she shouldn't make it out like that women need man partens to go in life!! This song is OK but it is just the message behind it just so bad!!!

"And as I slept I felt him go" she is starting to think that the worst has happened. the "No earthly ships will ever bring him home again" part is talking about how he's no longer alive. no ship on earth will ever bring her soldier back to her. yet she still waits at the ocean.
