| I think the reason not many people are discussing white flag is because it don't need discussing it says everything that needs to be said in the song.
It's actually music not some big fat black man waving his fingers at da camera!
So oviously modern teenagers aren't going to appricate it ( They have already been brain washed by the big fat black men waving their fingers at the camara)

| Hey,
I object to the modern teenager thing. I do like Dido, I haven't heard any songs from No Angel, but I do love Life for Rent, and I'm 14.
And, I don't like fat black men or white blond men (like Eminem). I don't like expletives. Or sick songs like "Stan", which ironically features Thank You by Dido. OK, I've heard Thank You from No Angel.
And White Flag is a really great song.

| This is another one of thoses songs.. to me it says that i am not gonna surrender to some guy and let me hurt or break my heart that way...and me personally if a guys breaks up with me i can't cry.. i can't show him that i am hurt.. i might go home and cry.. but i won't cry in front of him..  i just won't do it.... and that is what this song means to me..

Modern teensger, that is the average 13-16 year old but I rpefer the more rock side to life. Give me RATM or AIC anyday.
I love this song, to me it tells me that she broke up with him, she still loves him, she won't show it,s he'll jsut mvoe on despite always in love with this guy. |
