I'm not a fan of theirs since what they did. BUT this song is really good. Although i think they need to stop lingering on what they did and just get over it. Stop trying to make people see it their way or agree or feel sorry for them whatever.

2. Speaking their minds, something that most people are afraid to do. And not being sorry about it.

Okay first of all I have to say I'm not really a country fan, but this song is incredible. I loved it from the first time I heard it.
Everyone needs to stop worrying about what the song means to the artist and think about what it means to you. Personally this song makes me think about how angry I am at myself and my jobs for me not being able to get to one of my friends from high school funeral visition. He was tragically killed in a car accident on the Canada Day Weekend. And because I work two full time jobs to pay for school I wasn't able to make it and now I'm very angry and I regret that, and I really don't have time to go "Round and round and round" but I seem to in my head.
So next time you disagree with a songs meaning....think of what it means to you.

Good for the Dixie Chicks! I always liked that they weren't afraid to express their dislike of Bush, and I was saddened when they gave into pressure and apologized. Everyone has a right to their opinion. The backlash they received for just expressing themselves is absurd. And this song is a great way to express their frustrations at those dissenters. I love the fact that they made this song, and that they are standing up for everything. They were on The Ellen Degeneres Show this morning and they were talking about what Natalie said and how people twisted it around. They spoke their mind... people think and say things like that every day. I know people that walk around with tshirts mocking Bush... but you dont see them getting death threats. Its not like they killed anyone they just stated that they werent on his side with the war.
