I have only really listened to three DT albums this far. Those being 'Images And Words', this one and 'Black Clouds & Silver Linings'. I love all of those albums, but there's something special about this one. I really like concept albums and was really fascinated by the story of this one. Everything Dream Theater does seems to be so well thought out, and this is no exception. Musically brilliant is the way I would describe this album and the members of DT as well.

I can't really found anything negative about the album except for the fact that it may take a few listens before you really "get it". Listen to it a couple of times, try to pay attention to the story and really listen, then you'll love it. DT is not meant to be "background music".

Overall I'd give this album 4.5/5 if I have to be really picky.
