AboutÉlisa Tovati (real name Élisa Touati) is a French actress & singer, born on March 23, 1976 in Paris, France. From 1991 to 1993, she studied acting at Paris' Cours Florent. At 17, she played in TV series like "Navarro", "Nestor Burma" & "Highlander"... She made her film debut in Bigas Luna's "Macho". In 1996, she played in Roger Hanin's film "Soleil" & in 2001, she played in Thomas Gilou's "La Vérité Si Je Mens 2".
In 2002, Élisa started her musical career with her first album Ange Étrange, released on Columbia/Sony Music. In 2006, she released her second album Je Ne Mâche Pas Les Mots on Mercury France/Universal, including "Débile Menthol". The same year, she has been Marc Lavoine's supporting act.
In 2011, after having left Mercury, Élisa released her third album Le Syndrome De Peter Pan, including "Il Nous Faut", a duet with Tom Dice.
On June 14, 2008, Élisa married Sébastien Saussez, former director of Mercury France/Universal. They have 2 sons, Joseph, born in 2009 & Léo, born in 2012.
In September 2014, Élisa participated to "Danse Avec Les Stars" with Rayane Bensetti, Corneille, Joyce Jonathan, Louisy Joseph, Brian Joubert, Anthony Kavanagh, Miguel Ángel Muñoz, Nathalie Pechalat & Ophélie Winter. She & her dancer Christian Millette ended at the last place.
