AboutEliZe was born in Utrecht and grew up in Bussum. Just like her mother EliZe loves to sing. As an eight year old she was selected to sing in a children's television show, "Kinderen voor Kinderen", in which she sang for six years.
After that she joined a choir for teenagers "Non Stop". She also took part in two amateur musical productions "Chicago" and "Les Miserablés".
The last three years she has been active as a background singer in a song contest for children.
In the mean time EliZe finished a training college for executive secretary.
This year EliZe recorded an album in Denmark. The songs are produced by Peter Hartmann and Jan Langhoff who also worked with Aqua. The first single is called "Shake", which was proudly titled "Dancesmash" by Radio 538. The single "Automatic" also became "Dancesmash" shortly after its release. "Automatic" became her signature song, also peaking in the top 20 in Finland and Belgium! Her first international hit! Her third single "I'm No Latino" became "TMF SuperClip" shortly after the introduction. The catchy "Into Your System" was released as fourth single. The album finally appeared on October 6, 2006, 2 weeks before the release of fifth single "Itsy Bitsy Spider" - and no! It is an original song, NOT a cover!
