4 years after her latest album De Lave Et De Sève, Elsa will be back on September 29 with her new album, now with her full name, with songs written by singer Da Silva. Discover "Oser", her new single.
8 years separated Chaque Jour Est Un Long Chemin, released in 1996 & De Lave Et De Sève in 2004 : 4 years were enough for the singer to release another album. Elsa, nowadays using her name Lunghini (she also uses this name as an actress), will release her new album on September 29 & the first single is "Oser", written by singer Da Silva. "There's always a smile" she said, eyes full of mischief, to describe the songs written by "L'Indécision" singer : this former punk who turned to music got nominated at the Victoires De La Musique last year. Whereas the songs are mostly about failed love, there's always a light, in verses & chorus that the beautiful singer gave to Elsa.
Far from studios since 2004 & her album De Lave Et De Sève, including a duet with Etienne Daho & the single "Mon Amour", the singer prefers using her spoken voice. She chose disillusioned music, composed by Da Silva, blowing glass-like words, losing herself in miraculous pop. Seduced by Emmanuel Da Silva's personality, Elsa Lunghini decided, for the moment, to throw away the lyrics she had written herself. Because Da Silva writes "all that she wanted to write" & she wanted to be guided by him.
Elsa performed at Paris' Européen in 2005 & will be there again from February 2 to 9, 2009. Also, she will go on tour in France, she hasn't done it for 10 years.
Also, the TV adaptation of Marc Levy's book "Où Es-Tu ?", with Elsa, Cristiana Reali & Philippe Bas, will be aired on June 7 on M6.
