AboutEmarosa is a 6-piece post-hardcore band from Lexington, Kentucky. They have released an EP, entitled This Is Your Way Out, recorded and produced by Joey Sturgis. Emarosa was originally signed to Standby Records but due to releasing troubles with their EP they signed to Rise Records alongside bands such as Drop Dead, Gorgeous, Before Their Eyes, The Devil Wears Prada, At the Throne of Judgment, and Catherine. They were originally named Corsets Are Cages, but changed to their current name about a month before they released their EP. During the Corsets Are Cages era, they were originally a 4-piece post-hardcore band. They then got rid of 2 members and picked up 4 more. Chris Roberts and Mike Bryant were the only original members until Mike Bryant left the band to join another band called Gwen Stacy (who currently left Gwen Stacy as of 2007). Chris Roberts departed, then joining The Revival Sound. Chris Roetter replaced Roberts in Emarosa. Then guitarist that replaced Mike Bryant, Madison, recently quit Emarosa which now Jonas of At Daggers Drawn replaced him on guitar.
Emarosa has toured with the bands Fiora, akissforjersey, Before Their Eyes, and The Wedding.
Jonny Craig (Formally vocalist of Dance Gavin Dance) is now the vocalist for the band, replacing Chris Roetter. They released an album on Rise Records entitled 'Relativity' on 8th July 2008.
