| Emmure is a deathcore band from Connecticut (although their members are from Queens, New York) that formed in 2003. To date they have released one full-length LP and just released their sophomore album, The Respect Issue, on May 19, 2008. They have been compared to The Acacia Strain and From a Second Story Window and have borrowed heavily from both bands, particularly The Acacia Strain.
