AboutErreway is an Argentinean band which was originally created during the television series Rebelde Way. At first the band was just fictional, a part of the show, but with time it became independent and very popular.

Both the show and the band are created by Cris Morena. She also writes the lyrics of the songs.
The band became extremely popular in Argentina, Peru, Uruguay, Spain, and even in countries as far as Israel.
Erreway released three albums: Señales (Signs), Tiempo (Time) and Memoria (Memory).
They did great shows in Israel and other countries around Latin America. In December 2004 they concluded Erreway with one last tour. In 2006 they got back together briefly to do a show in Spain, where they are also very popular.
In 2005, Rebelde Way became a big hit in Spain and in 2006 one CD called "El Disco de Rebelde Way" was released. It contains 19 songs from the three unreleased albums in Spain and 11 videoclips.
Due to their success other countries bought the rights to "Rebelde Way" and created their own version. The Mexican version "Rebelde" also became very popular.
